 To qualify for a name change, a horse:
 a. cannot have registered or pending progeny
 b. cannot have been imported from off the North American continent
 c. cannot be currently or previously registered with the AHA/IAHA (Canadian born horses registered with
  AHA/ IAHA may apply for a name change with the US registry)
 d.  cannot have a current show record with the AHA/IAHA

 We require the original certificate of registration and a written request that includes the horse’s original registered name,  the new name choice and the signature of the recorded owner(s).
