NAME CHANGES
Name changes are now permitted after registration. To qualify, a horse
cannot:
a. have registered or pending progeny
b. have been imported from off the North American continent
c. have had a Jockey Club, AHA or IAHA certificate issued
d. have a show record with AHA/IAHA
To change a name, we require the original certificate of registration
and a written request that includes the horse’s old name, the new name
choice and the signature of the recorded owner(s). The fee will be
$100.00 plus $6.00 G.S.T. (CAHR members) or $125.00 plus $7.50 GST. Payment can be made by certified cheque, money
