Under the Animal Pedigree Act the seller is obliged to provide the duly transferred certificate of registration to the buyer within six months after the date of sale (subsection 64-j),which states "64. No person shall (j) without an express statement that the animal's registration, identification or status as a purebred is from a jurisdiction other than Canada and that the animal will not be registered or identified in Canada by the person, sell, as registered or identified, or as eligible to be registered or identified, or as a purebred, any animal without providing to the buyer thereof within six months after the sale the animal's duly transferred certificate of registration or certificate of identification."
- Application to be fully completed by the seller or authorized agent. In ink, or typewritten.
- Application must be signed by the seller or authorized representative and all signatures must be in ink. Printed signatures are not acceptable. Partnership signatures require countersignatures.
- The Certificate of Registration must be presented with this form to the Canadian Arabian Horse Registry along with the current fee.
THIS FORM NOT REQUIRED IF TRANSFER SECTION ON ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE IS COMPLETED.
