crossing papers showing the date the horse came into Canada and photos clearly showing all
markings.**
If upon receiving the completed application for registration, original AHRA
certificate and photos, there is a discrepancy in markings we may then require a visual
inspection and/or further means of confirming the identity of the animal in question. |

*All
photos must be of good quality and must be taken with the horse standing on a flat surface
without mud, snow or long grass and must clearly show hoof colour. We will require photos
taken from front, hind and both side views of the legs as well as close up of the face
including lips and chin.
**Grey animals will need to be wet down and in some cases clipped to clearly show
the underlying pink skin. The diagram of markings, including hair whorls, must be
completed by the applicant on the Colour & Markings Verification form. |
